iPhone/iPod touch still not perfect

Recently I got my very first Apple gadget - The iPod Touch (check here). I’m really enjoying the very responsive capacitive touch screen, very user friendly UI, LOADS of apps in the App Store etc. Well many people love the iPhone/iPod touch for these reasons, BUT if anyone of them have used a phone that has multitasking (eg. an S60 phone) would be disappointed with the Apple iPhone/ iPod touch.

There is NO multitasking on the iPhone or the iPod touch which is really sad. I don’t know why the makers didn’t feel the need for it…
Yesterday I asked people on twitter the same thing and I got replies like “it would affect the battery life a lot” well that's not the solution right? also the syncing options with iTunes are very very confusing, adding photos on the iPod touch a BIG pain :/ I have to select an entire folder and cannot drag and drop, .wma audio files not supported. Some video files are not supported. But after ‘jailbreaking’ your iPod/iPhone you get access to whole lot of stuff which makes it really exciting.

My final thoughts on this? both the gadgets are very good, especially the iPod which is an almost perfect portable entertainment device. The iPhone would be perfect if it had multitasking and a 5megapixel camera (the camera part is not necessary though) Also better support for Windows users. A perfect combination would be having a iMac/Macbook and an iPhone.

Google’s Nexus One, the Android ‘Superphone’ is said to be an iPhone killer, well only time will tell!
What are your thoughts on the iPhone? do leave comments!

well, frst of all, i blv dat apple has made all these devices to work in sync together. so u hav to hav d mac book as well as d iphone n ipod together, nahi to d experience is lot less. n dat accrdng to me is thier bggst downfall. ipod i love as an entertainment device, but iphone not. as u rightly said, lack of multitasking n most imp nt hvng a gud camera kills it. n as fr nexus, do read its reviews on mashable :)
thnks fr d informative post, keep sharing in future also.
